Abi joined the group as a PhD student in October 2019. Originally from Coventry, she graduated in 2017 with a 2:1 BSc in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, and again in 2018 with a Distinction MSc in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Warwick. Outside of the lab, Abi enjoys playing college netball, walking her dogs and going to gigs.
Abi’s research is currently focused on developing hybrid polymer hosts to facilitate solid-state triplet-triplet annihilation upconversion for solar energy harvesting devices as part of the ERC funded SPECTRACON project.
