Biography

Georgie joined the group as a PhD student in October 2022. Originally from Sussex, she graduated in 2022 with a First Class BA & MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. 

In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking and playing music.

Current Research

Georgie’s research surrounds solid-state host materials for triple-triplet annihilation upconversion. Her work focuses on inorganic-organic hybrid polymers, with an aim to incorporate additional self-healing functionality. This research involves both synthetic chemistry and characterisation of mechanical and photophysical properties.
