Biography

Alberto joined the PAM Group as a visiting PhD student in June 2023. He graduated in 2019 with an MSc from the University of Pisa (Italy) in Industrial Chemistry and is now a second-year PhD student in Chemistry and Materials Science at the University of Pisa under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Pucci.
Alberto is part of a theatre company in the province of Florence. He is passionate about music, football and cinema.
Current Research
Alberto’s research project, included in the National Operative Plan of the Italian Ministry of University and Research, concerns the development of Luminescent Solar Concentrators based on poly(methyl methacrylate) from recycled sources. During his 6-month period at MSM, he will focus on the synthesis and/or modification of polymers and fluorophores to realise LSCs via 3D printing.
