Zhihang Wang

Zhihang joined the PAM group in February 2023 as a postdoctoral research associate. He graduated from the Claude Bernard University Lyon 1 with a BSc in Physics in 2013 and the University of Paris-Saclay,  Pierre and Marie Curie University with an MSc in Optical science in 2015. Later, he went to Gothenburg in Sweden to complete a PhD. His first postdoctoral position was at Chalmers University of Technology in 2020, under the supervision of Prof. Kasper Moth-Poulsen.

Zhihang’s research covers a wide range of topics on photoswitches, and characterizations of molecular photophysics properties. His expertise is in designing and testing solar energy-related devices.

Zhihang was born in Shandong province, China. Oustside of the lab, Zhihang loves photography, travelling, golfing, and strolling.

Current Research

Zhihang will be working on solar harvesting device design and fabrication, also characterizing the optical properties of spectral conversion materials for the SPECTRACON project.
